"A man and a woman were walking down the sidewalk when suddenly the man violently attacked the woman," McGuinness told CBC News Thursday night."He pushed her initially, and she went flying down backward to the ground."A few moments later, after walking away, he decided to come running back at her and from behind, hit her across the neck, causing her to fall on her face straight onto the sidewalk," McGuinness said.
The woman lay motionless on the ground for a period of time before wandering off, leaving a trail of blood behind her."The concern here for us is that this woman has not been located despite our efforts to find her at hospitals or other clinics. We cannot confirm her injuries or how she's doing," McGuinness said.
